Ubuntu 17.04 Chromium Browser quietly provides full access to Google account [duplicate]

It seems you have downloaded and installed Chromium browser from the Ubuntu repos. The worst case is that it is possible that Ubuntu may have provided you with a malicious code at that point which would provide Ubuntu full access to your Google account. It is best if you can download Chromium from the Chromium project itself and then install the same on your PC.

This may also be a mistake by the Chromium team. They may have renamed their software as Ubuntu. But I do not understand why such a mistake would be done.

Either Case, if I were you, I would be very worried about what happened provided your screenshots are true.
