In a scenario like this, when you have already spoken to the vendor about your hardware problem, and their answer is not satisfactory, you need to rebuild. Take a full image of your server, rebuild the RAID from scratch (and put a hot spare in there, RAID5 without a spare is simply asking to lose data), then restore your image back onto the newly created (error free) RAID volume.
