Live USB for Ubuntu 13.10 does't recognize Windows 8 OS

Solution 1:

  • Choose something else option,select the partition you want to install ubuntu.Please dont select any windows partition.Then format the selected partition to ext4 filesystem,and choose the install option.It will take you to the installation progress window.
