You have two options for converting singleplayer to multiplayer.

option 1: Open to lan

You can do this by:

• pressing escape in your singleplayer world.
• Press open to LAN
• Start LAN world.

This will allow anyone on the same network to join that game.

option 2: Copy to multiplayer world

If you want to make it permanently multiplayer in the form of a server, you do the following.

• Create a new server
• Open your singleplayer world in file explorer. This can be found by going to %appdata% then .minecraft/saves/ the world you want to convert.
• Copy the contents of this folder
• Open the new server in your file explorer.
• Replace the contents of the world folder with the copied files.

You now have a multiplayer world.
