How to transfer buildings and objects from one Minecraft world to another? [duplicate]
I was playing mine craft on a friends account. I liked it so much I bought my own account. But now I want to transfer all the cool stuff I made from the random world on their account to my account.
How do I do this?
Solution 1:
Worlds are not tied to accounts, but computers. On their computer, you will need to go to:
- In case you are using Windows: %appdata%/.minecraft/saves and copy your world to a flash drive, and put it in the same directory in your computer.
- In Linux the same folder can be found at: /home/< your Linux username >/saves
