Problem on shutdown MacBookPro 11.3

I would try some standard troubleshooting first...

• Reset the SMC

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Plug in the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to a power source and to your computer.
  3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
  4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
  5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

• Reset the NVRAM

  1. At the boot chimes, hold Cmd ⌘ Opt ⌥ P R
  2. Keep holding all 4 keys until you hear the chimes again, then release

• Start in Safe Mode

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
  3. Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.

• Apply the latest Combo Update - currently 10.11.2
