My Toshiba Touchpad not working
Solution 1:
If you don'h have donf-editor install it:
sudo apt-get install dconf-tools
open dconf-editor
Then go to setting-->org-->gnome-->settings-daemon-->peripherals-->touchpad
and set touchpad-enabled to true
