How do I find the root cause of launchd crashing?
Solution 1:
Start by increasing the log level of launchd. Maybe the logs can tell you more about what happens right before launchd crashes.
sudo launchctl log level info
The available log levels are: debug, info, notice, warning, error, critical, alert and emergency. I believe the default level is error.
