What latency is incurred by using an AWS Elastic IP?
Since the elastic IP simply replaces the public IP I believe there will be no difference in networking performance (latency / bandwidth) between a public and elastic IP.
The Elastic IP simply replaces the public IP that's associated with your instance. This is all in the same availability zone.
