New Folder button in Windows 10?
Solution 1:
You can get it like this:
- Go to a folder (e.g. your C:\ drive)
- Double click the "Home" ribbon in the explorer, this will expand it so you don't always have to expand it manually.
- There is your "New Folder" Button
Solution 2:
By default, the "New Folder" button is shown in the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).
The QAT includes a customizable drop-down menu that contains more commands.
Solution 3:
For those who prefer the keyboard, pressing Ctrl+Shift+N immediately creates a new folder in the one you're currently viewing.
Solution 4:
Make sure you're on the Home tab of the Explorer window's ribbon. It shows there on mine. Make sure you actually are viewing something that can have a folder create and you have permissions. The ribbon might be collapsed. Look under the close button in the upper right of the window for a down arrow. If its there click it to open the ribbon.
