Solution 1:

I created the NBI on the server and it is booting my clients successfully so far.

Also, the issue I reported in the previous question, where the NetBoot service appears to be crashing, does not seem to be affecting the performance of the service. The bug looks like it's only affecting the Server Admin GUI.

Solution 2:

your NBI files should be created on a client computer not your server. the client host machine should be the latest and best you can get hold of as an NBI created on this will boot everything else you have including laptops. it's then copied back to your server running DeployStudio and selected as the boot image file in the NetBoot service.
