Safari dosen't open anymore "reopen"
I've just worked on a machine with the same problem. It turned out to be caused by a piece of software called Genieo, see http://www.thesafemac.com/arg-genieo/ . Be aware that that guide seems not completely correct, technically, so think twice before acting on it.
