Is there a BitTorrent client that can download files "in sequence"? [closed]

Solution 1:

I don't think you are going to find a client that will do this for you. There's some feeling in the torrent community that sequential downloading is bad.

Solution 2:

It's called "Sequential downloading" or "Download in order". It's not only possible to do it between files, but also between the parts of them.

For example, libtorrent-rasterbar supports it, and therefore clients such as qBittorrent have that option available:

As you can see on the screenshot, the first parts were prioritized and downloaded (blue).

It is considered a bad practice because it hurts the swarm's health. It works great for watching videos straight away though.
