Rearranging items in Windows 8.1 Navigation pane

Is it possible to rearrange items in the Navigation pane of File Explorer in the Windows 8.1 Preview?

Currently it shows Favorites, SkyDrive, This PC, and Libraries (from top to bottom), but I would rather have them arranged just like I had it before in Windows 7 - Favorites, Libraries, Computer (or This PC).

Any clues?

No real fix for this, but you could try pinning Libraries and C: drive ect, to your favourites, then they will always stay on top of the list. It just a temp fix thats working for me.

Here's how to move Libraries to below Favorites... http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-move-libraries-above-this-pc-in-windows-8-1/. I hate having SkyDrive and Homegroup before Computer though so any fix for that would be nice...

  1. Open the Registry editor regedit.
  2. Go to the following key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}

  1. You will see the SortOrderIndex value which is set to 84 (in decimals). Change it to 56 in decimals.
  2. Libraries will now appear directly below Favorites, above This PC, Network, etc. in Windows 8.1
