How do you get stars in online mode in Mario kart wii?
To get a star ranking on your license you must get that rank or better in every cup and engine class in Grand Prix mode. It will show up on the race results and pre-online race screens.
- For three stars, win every race in the cup.
- For two stars, you're allowed to place second in one race.
- For one star, you can place second twice or third once.
Even if you get the needed score, you must stay ahead almost all the time to get the desired rank.
