I can't install libtiff on my 64-bit Ubuntu

When I try to install libtiff on my 64-bit Ubuntu, I get the following error:

sudo apt-get install libtiff

libtiff-memcached: command not found

Solution 1:

libtiff has no installation candidate. Your choices are:

sudo apt-get install libtiff4

for Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.04, and 13.10 ... or

sudo apt install libtiff5

for Ubuntu 14.04-20.04
