Spring Boot JSP 404

Ensure that you have jasper and jstl in the list of dependencies:

    <dependency>
        <groupId>org.apache.tomcat.embed</groupId>
        <artifactId>tomcat-embed-jasper</artifactId>
        <scope>provided</scope>
    </dependency>
    <dependency>
        <groupId>javax.servlet</groupId>
        <artifactId>jstl</artifactId>
    </dependency>

In newer versions of Spring, following needs to be put in application.properties file:

spring.mvc.view.prefix=/WEB-INF/jsp/
spring.mvc.view.suffix=.jsp

Also, JSP files need to be put under src/main/resources/META-INF/resources/WEB-INF/jsp
