"Shut down" takes me to greeter now?

shutdown login-screen 12.04

If more than one person is logged on pressing the shutdown button will take you to the greeter. You can still shut down with the command line with the command, sudo shutdown -h now


Try sudo halt. It would be interesting to find out if that, too sends you to the greeter.
