VLC: Play audio even above 4x speed
When going above 4x speed, VLC automatically mutes audio.
Is there any way to allow audio to be played anyway even above 4x speed?

To what end? At twice speed, it is hard to understand. At 4X speed, the audio is unintelligible.
I have not seen a native way to do what you are truing to do.
