How to resolve E: Internal Error when using apt-get remove?
For me this works:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
Src: E: dpkg was interrupted... run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'
Reboot then,
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

use dpkg -i on both of these:
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.0.0_1.0.1-4ubuntu5.3_i386.deb
