Cygwin portable?

Solution 1:

Solution 2:

Yes, there are quite a few options here, I started with Cameyo. It's very user-friendly and easy to use. One critical down-side however, is that it's virtualization has issues with some programs and doesn't always work well, if at all for said programs. After Cameyo, I made the jump to VMWare ThinApp. A bit more complex, but you can achieve much more with this tool. If you use it it will take some getting used to, as editing a project after a capture requires you to manually edit the project's Package.ini, as well as other assets without the aide of a GUI. And finally, there's Turbo Studio (Formerly Spoon Studio). This one is a bit pricy as it is now subscription based, and is about half-way between Cameyo and ThinApp. It has the user-interface and integration of cameyo, stacked with the complexity and diversity of ThinApp. And as others have stated, PortableApps.com, but I haven't used it and therefore have no opinion on it. I would recommend capturing your post-snapshot with your preferred virtualizer and set it up with the settings you want as it's defaults. I would also use either NTFS or exFAT for the filesystem. Hope this helps...
