How can I resolve a 3DS networking issue?
The pokemon X/Y game had several updates, what you need to do is go to the Eshop and download the updates.
Nintendo 3DS games don't updates their games on its own unlike other consoles and PC and that is probably the cause of your connection error.
I had the exact problem with the first update.
