How can I make ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv consume the entire 799 GBs?

Solution 1:

Try

   lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv

And then resize the fs by running

   resize2fs /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv
